It is officially my favorite time of year! Thanksgiving is my absolute favorite holiday and my favorite season. I love the colors, flavors, and fragrances of fall. I am so looking forward to celebrating them during this month!
Thankfulness is something that I think we could all use a little bit more of in our lives. I have so much to be thankful for, but I often take my blessings for granted and focus on the negative aspects in life. Have you ever noticed how easy it is to complain? It’s especially easy when you’re in a group of people. For some reason, snarky stories and complaints are more fun to hear and tell than stories about how thankful we are or how God is blessing us. One thing I really want to focus on this month is cultivating an attitude of thankfulness.
I would like to tell you that I have big plans for a grand month here on the blog, but let’s be real: I am a new parent with a full time job. It’s the greatest thing that I have ever experienced, but it doesn’t always leave time for blogging and developing new recipes. So instead of a month packed with crazy challenges and plans, I’m going to spend this month allowing myself grace when everything doesn’t get done. I want to enjoy this special season of Thanksgiving before the craziness of the Christmas season gets here. I’m excited to share my favorite season with you this year!
